Abstract

Vehicles are one of the most vital parts of human life to keep up to the needs and demands in the present fast paced world. But often in this haste, the little aspects of safety get ignored which later leads to major causes for grief such as accidents. This paper focuses on solving those problems by using economical and easily available IoTs. The procedure mainly involves usage of ESP32 embedded systems. It can be used in few applications like alcohol detection, accident detection, gas sensing and ultrasonic sensing. In unprecedented times it is helpful if the driver has consumed alcohol or the owner of the vehicle needs to monitor the condition of the vehicle/driver at any time. By using various sensors such as gas sensors, vibration sensors, GPS etc. a system can be developed to provide assistance for safety and emergencies while driving a vehicle. The many advantages of ESP32 makes it favorable for such applications. The validation of this concept is done by simulation in Proteus 8 Professional and also hardware prototype has been prepared.
