A natureza da filosofia e seu ensino

Abstract

This paper intends to show that the nature of philosophy raises difficulties regarding the way in which this subject is usually taught in Brazil. It is argued that some philosophy teaching strategies stem from an inability to accept the open and speculative nature of philosophy, and it is explained how philosophy can be taught in a way that does full justice to its open nature.
