TINGKAT PENGETAHUAN KARYAWAN INSTALASI FARMASI RSUD SAYANG CIANJUR TENTANG BEYOND USE DATE (BUD) OBAT

Abstract

One of the things that determines whether a drug is still suitable for use or not is the Expired Date (ED), which is the time limit for using the drug after it is produced by a pharmaceutical factory, before the packaging is opened. In the pharmaceutical world, ED drugs after opening are called Beyond Use Date (BUD). This research was conducted with the aim of measuring the level of knowledge of employees at the Pharmaceutical Installation of Sayang Cianjur Regional Hospital regarding the Beyond Use Date of medicines. The method used in this research is a survey method by giving respondents an online questionnaire to fill in. The questionnaire given contained 15 questions, including 7 questions for BUD knowledge based on cognitive aspects and the other 8 questions for BUD knowledge based on affective aspects. Among the 15 questions there are questions based on the dosage form. The results obtained were that based on the cognitive aspect the level of knowledge of TTK and Pharmacists about BUD was in the good category with a percentage of 82.9% and based on the affective aspect the level of knowledge of TTK and Pharmacists about BUD was also in the good category with a percentage of 89.3%. The level of knowledge of TTK and Pharmacists regarding BUD in cognitive aspects and effective aspects based on dosage forms is in the good category with an overall average percentage of 84.5%. With the accumulation of these results, the level of knowledge of TTK and Pharmacists regarding the Beyond Use Date (BUD) of drugs is in the good category.
