Abstract

Soybean production in Indonesia in the last five years fluctuates and tends to increase. Efforts to increase soybean crop productivity are pursued through intensification by improving crop cultivation systems by selecting varieties and extensification through the addition of planted areas by utilizing dry land. The purpose of the study was to determine the best growth and production of various soybean varieties in rain-fed rice fields after the rice harvest. The design of this study used a Randomized Block Design, consisting of 6 treatments namely Anjasmoro, Argomulyo, Gema, Kaba, Tidar, and Yellow Gepak varieties. The parameters observed in this study were plant height, number of leaves, number of productive books, number of crop pods, crop pod weight (grams), plot pod weight (kg), weight 100 seeds (gram), seed weight (kg) and weight seeds per hectare (tons). The results of data analysis on the parameters of soybean production showed that Anjasmoro and Argomulyo varieties obtained the number of productive books, pod weight, 100 seed weight and the highest seed weight per hectare.
