Abstract

This paper presents a personal view on some emerging research directions at the interface of social science and spatial analysis. Particular emphasis is placed on methodological challenges presented by developments in social science theory, demands for data manipulation, and the need for education and dissemination. © 1999 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
