Abstract

The medical community is increasingly using simulation-based surgical training strategies to train medical personnel in complicated surgical procedures, such as the treatment of massive explosive-related trauma. One of the pioneer companies which offer a wide range of packages for this purpose is HT Medical. HT Medical has already developed simulation tools that use physical models derived from medical scanner data. Two these products are the neuroendoscopic simulator and the catheterization simulator.
