Abstract

Abstrak Populasi penelitian ini berjumlah 35 pegawai dan seluruhnya dijadikan sampel. Sumber data dipakai adalah data primer dan data sekunder. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan kuesioner, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Uji instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah uji validitas dan reliabilitas. Teknik analisis data terdiri dari uji normalitas, analisis deskriptif kualitatif, dan deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan sebagai berikut: 1. disiplin kerja, karakteristik individu, dan kinerja pegawai sudah baik; 2. hasil analisis regresi yaitu Ŷ = 7,450 + 0,336 X1 + 0,230 X2, artinya terdapat pengaruh positif antara disiplin kerja dan karakteristik individu terhadap kinerja pegawai; 3. hasil analisis korelasi diperoleh nilai r = 0,797, artinya terdapat hubungan yang kuat dan positif antara disiplin kerja dan karakteristik individu terhadap kinerja pegawai; 4. diperoleh nilai koefisien determinasi dapat dijelaskan tinggi rendahnya kinerja pegawai 63,5% dan sisanya 36,5% disebabkan faktor lain yang tidak dibahas dalam penelitian ini. Dari hasil pengolahan dan perhitungan kuisioner, penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa disiplin kerja dan karakteristik individu yang dilakukan Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil Pematangsiantar berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Hal ini dibuktikan melalui uji hipotesis secara simultan, dimana hasil uji fhitung (27,840)> ftabel (3,29) dengan taraf signifikansi 0,000< 0,05. Kata kunci: disiplin kerja, karakteristik individu, kinerja pegawai Abstract The population in this study were all employees amounting to 35 employees and all is sampel. Data sources used are primary data and secondary data. Data collection is done by questionnaires, interviews and documentation. The instruments research test used are validity test and reliably test. The analysis technique used are normality test, qualitative descriptive analysis and quantitative descriptive.The results of this study can be summarized as follows: 1. Work discipline, individual characteristics and employee performance are good. 2. The analysis regression is Ŷ = 7,450 + 0,336 X1 + 0,230 X2, have a positive influence between work discipline and individual characteristics on employee performance. 3. The corarelation result of r = 0,797, the analysis correlation have a moderately high and positive correlation between work discipline, individual characteristics with the employee performance 4. The result of coefficient of determination can be explained the level of employee performance is 63,5% and the remaining 36,5%.is explained by other factors not discussed in this study. From the result of the processing and calculation of the questionnaire, the authors concluded that the work discipline and individual characteristics conducted by the Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil Pematangsiantar had a positive and significant affect on employee performance. This is evidenced by simultanious hypothesis testing, where the results of the test are calculated fhitung (27,840)> ftabel (3,29) with significance level of 0,000< 0,05.
