Abstract

This is the protocol for a review and there is no abstract. The objectives are as follows: Primary: To determine the effect of mass media interventions targeting adult, ethnic minorities with messages about physical activity, dietary patterns, tobacco use or alcohol consumption to reduce risk of NCDs. Secondary: To examine the effect of targeted mass media interventions alone compared to targeted mass media interventions given as part of multi-component interventions.
