Abstract
This study aims to describe the role of parents as educators in children's speaking skills from the Sedulur Sikep Community. This research is a qualitative descriptive study with research subjects namely 7 students of SDN 01 Klopoduwur who came from Karangpace Village and 4 parents. Data collection techniques use assessment of speaking skills, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that there was a role of parents in children's speaking skills with 4 categories of children classified as highly skilled and 3 children in the skilled category.
