Abstract
Menstruation is an indicator of sexual maturity that occurs during puberty of a woman. Dismenorrhoea or medical terms catamenial pelvic pain is a condition where a woman experiences pain during menstruation that can interfere with daily activities. This study aims to determine the decrease in the pain scale dysmenorrhoea with endorphin massage in students who experience dysmenorrhea. This study uses a quasi-experimental form of Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sampling technique was purposive sampling with a sample of 24 respondents consisting of 12 control groups and 12 intervention groups. The statistical test used is T-test dependent. The results obtained p = 0.000 (p <0.05), where there is a significant difference between endorphin massage on the dysmenorrhea pain scale. So it can be concluded that there is an effect of endorphin massage on the dysmenorrhea pain scale on Stikes Alifah students. It has hoped that health workers should start applying endorphin massage therapy during dysmenorrhoea instead of using pain-reducing drugs.
