Abstract

Electrical breakdown voltage studies on Nb2O5 films in aqueous solutions of weak organic acid as a function of concentration, temperature, and applied field are carried out under galvanostatic conditions. Electronic conduction measurement through the Nb2O5 film as a function of temperature and applied field are also determined so as to examine the validity of Ikonopisov theory of electrical breakdown quantitatively.
