Abstract

The professional development of preschool teachers is a key factor in the global effort to enhance the quality of early childhood education. Using the document analysis method, this article provides a comprehensive overview of the factors influencing the professional development of preschool teachers globally and in Vietnam. Subjective factors include policies and compensation, the working environment and management practices, and societal perceptions of the teaching profession. Objective factors encompass teachers' autonomy, motivation for personal development, and experience. The article identifies research gaps and suggests new directions, aligned with sustainable development, for future studies on the professional development of preschool teachers in Vietnam.Phát triển chuyên môn của Giáo viên mầm non (GVMN) là yếu tố then chốt trong công cuộc toàn cầu đẩy mạnh chất lượng giáo dục mầm non. Sử dụng phuong pháp nghiên cứu tài liệu, bài viết nghiên cứu dữ liệu dựa trên 33 công trình bài báo và các các văn bản báo cáo chính sách có liên quan, từ đó cung cấp cái nhìn toàn diện về các nhân tố ảnh hưởng đến phát triển chuyên môn của giáo viên mầm non trên thế giới và Việt Nam. Về nhóm nhân tố khách quan, bao gồm chính sách và chế độ lương thưởng; môi trường làm việc và cách thức quản lí, quan điểm của xã hội về nghề GVMN. Về nhóm nhân tố chủ quan có thể kể đến quyền tự quyết, động lực phát triển bản thân, và kinh nghiệm của giáo viên. Bài viết chỉ ra những khoảng trống trong nghiên cứu, gợi dẫn những hướng mới, gắn với phát triển bền vững cho nghiên cứu về phát triển chuyên môn của GVMN ở Việt Nam trong tương lai.
