Abstract

The article discusses the past and future of the radical animal liberation movement (RALM) in the U.S. during the twentieth century. A brief history of the leadership resistance to the animal liberation movement is presented. The violence associated with the movement is also discussed and some important factors that are likely to affect the future of RALM including the progression of the animal liberation cause in general, are presented.
