Abstract

The International Council for Standardization in Haematology (ICSH) in conjunction with Eurotrol, B.V. has released a new lot of the haemiglobincyanide or haemoglobin standard. This technical report describes the purpose, methodology in manufacturing, Abstract of value assignment data and availability of this standard material used for the standardization and calibration of whole blood haemoglobin measurements on most haemoglobinometers and automated blood cell counters throughout the world. © 2009 Blackwell Publishing Ltd.
