Abstract

A dilead(II) complex of a binucleating macro-cycle formed by the condensation of two molecules of 2,6-diformyl-4-methylphenol and two molecules of 1,3-diamino-propane has been obtained by template reaction. The crystal structure of this complex was analyzed by single-crystal X-ray method.
