Abstract
Most people with Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS) are euthyroid, i.e. have a normal thyroid function but hypothyroidism occurs while no cases of hyperthyroidism have been reported. During growth hormone (GH) and/or sex steroid treatment the thyroid hormone levels may change. It is recommended that the thyroid function is monitored regularly. © 2013 Nova Science Publishers, Inc.
