Abstract

The feminine enjoyment is considered by Lacan, as "Other", compared to the enjoyment of the man. Anyway, it is difficult to enclose, especially since enjoyment can be, as shown by the clinic, easily simulated by a woman. But why does a woman put herself in the position of simulating the orgasm? What are the stakes of this practice? We would try to show that faking orgasm is not only a synonymous of frigidity. It could be, of course, but it is also a spring of pleasure for a woman and, paradoxically, an expedient capable of making possible the "gathering" with the other.
