Abstract

Iatrogenic injury from medical disinfectants is an uncommon but potentially devastating complication. We report an unusual, but severe, upper aerodigestive complication from the use of ortho-Phthalaldehyde solution, a commonly used endoscope disinfectant. © 2008, Vendome Group, LLC.
