This article describes the program of psychological and pedagogical support for preteens with a high level of video game addiction. The authors have determined tasks and principles of this study, revealed the structure of the above-mentioned prevention program for preteens and described its stages and conditions, which allows reducing the negative effects of the existing video game addiction and the risk of its aggravation.
