Abstract

The green clays were analysed by XRD, IR, electron diffraction and chemical analysis, which show that mixed-layer celadonite and nontronite dominate. Computer factor analysis indicates two stages of hydrothermal activity (early and late stages of the Late Pleistocene). The Mn compounds and their associates were formed during the early stage at low T.-K.A.R.
