Abstract
Concerning tuberculosis, the modern approach to diagnosis and a regime of standard chemotherapy have been clearly laid down by the Department of Health, diagnosis and practical management remain serious problems, as they must in any country with a sizeable T.B. problem. Many years of controversy over numerous aspects of tuberculosis are brought to a conclusion by the appearance of a recent W.H.O. publication. This should be required reading for every medical student and doctor remotely concerned with tuberculosis.
