Abstract

The objective of this study is to provide new elements of reflection about the complex relationship between fascism corporatism and “instrumental authoritarianism” in the thought of Oliveira Vianna, in order to explain in a more satisfactory way how he organized in the Thirties the appropriation of the fascist corporate model to organize the national development during Vargas Era.
