Abstract
Studied techniques and strategies for shaping the skills needed to shop at a large supermarket. Human subjects: Two male Japanese school age children (aged 10 yrs 3 mo and 11 yrs 7 mo) (developmental disabilities) (mental age 5 yrs 2 mo and 5 yrs 4 mo). Simulation training was conducted in training settings (training condition). Then supermarket shopping was assessed (generalization condition).
