Abstract

drop weight method was used based on Wagar (1964): tamp weighs 7 kg. falling distance is 50cm. surface area of the tamp is 2500cm2. the authors estimated that the force (0.0137 Jcm-2) generated by this method is similar to that of a human footfall.
