Abstract

A: A 63-YEAR-OLD MAN with chronic obstructivepulmonary disease (COPD),using an albuterol inhaler as needed, called ournurse triage line in October 2020 because hischronic cough had worsened over the past 7 days.In this time, he occasionally had wheezing whenbreathing, but he noted no increase in shortnessof breath. The nurse advised him to be tested forcoronavirus and scheduled a follow-up virtual visitfor 3 days later
