Gerakan Anti Stunting melalui “Kelompok Ayah Siaga Basmi Stunting” di Area Pertanian, Jember

Abstract

Stunting, as a state of chronic malnutrition, hurts the growth and development of children. The family, being the closest system to the child, plays a crucial role in preventing stunting. Additionally, the father's important role in making decisions to ensure the health of his family needs to be recognized. This program aims to reduce the incidence of stunting in children by actively empowering fathers to participate in providing health education related to stunting prevention. The results show that the father's group has an average father's role in preventing stunting in children of 79.8%. Therefore, the presence of this program is capable of positively increasing the role and presence of fathers in preventing stunting.
