Abstract

We have previously found an increased risk of breast cancer among women born preterm. To confirm or refute the results, an enlarged study was conducted. The results from this study do not confirm the initial findings and suggest that preterm birth can be ruled out as a risk factor for breast cancer. © 2003 Cancer Research UK.
