Algunos atributos de la autonomía universitaria en la Argentina, Brasil y México: otra vuelta de tuerca

Abstract

Este artículo reflexiona sobre la idea de autonomía universitaria y pone en relieve su construcción social y sus múltiples dimensiones históricas, epistemológicas y políticas. Asimismo, ilustra el contexto y las formas en que se manifiesta hoy en la Argentina, Brasil y México, según sus principales actores académicos. Se construyeron algunos indicadores empíricos que buscan capturar, al menos liminarmente, la complejidad de la noción. Los tres países ilustran cómo seconfiguran en ellos la autonomía, heredera de sus tradiciones culturales y conformada también por el desarrollo autopoiético de sus sistemas educativosThis article reflects on the notion of university autonomy and highlights its social construction and its many historical, epistemological and political dimensions. It also illustrates the context and the ways in which it manifests itself today in Argentina, Brazil and Mexico, as its main academic actors. Some empirical indicators that seek to capture, at least preliminarily, the complexity of the notion were built. The three countries illustrate how they configured their autonomy, which inherited cultural traditions and was shaped by the autopoietic development of their educational systems
