Strengthening leadership in learning disability nursing

Abstract

This article describes the Scottish learning disability senior nurse group's position paper on leadership. Its main aim is to ensure that the contribution of the profession is recognised across the NHS and that it continues to be led effectively, including through succession planning as senior staff retire.
