Abstract

O presente artigo tem como objetivo analisar as formas de representação do Museu do Palácio da Justiça de Niterói em seus espaços físico e digital, buscando compreender de que modo essas representações contribuem para a construção e preservação da memória institucional. De natureza qualitativa e interpretativa, a pesquisa examina como o passado do museu é apresentado no contexto da cultura digital, observando as implicações dessa exposição para a relação com o patrimônio histórico. Para tanto, foram realizadas leituras teóricas, visitas à Praça da República e exame do site e das redes sociais do Museu da Justiça - Centro Cultural do Poder Judiciário do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (PJERJ).This article aims to analyse the forms of representation of the Niterói's Palace of Justice Museum in its physical and digital spaces, seeking to understand how these representations contribute to the construction and preservation of institutional memory. Of a qualitative and interpretative nature, the research examines how the museum's past is presented in the context of digital culture, observing the implications of this exhibition for the relationship with historical heritage. In order to do so, theoretical readings were carried out, visits were made to the Republic Square, and the website and social media of the Museum of Justice - Cultural Centre of the Judiciary of the State of Rio de Janeiro (PJERJ) were examined.
