Abstract

Resonant X-ray reflectivity was phenomenon were studied for liquid Bismuth-Indium surface to determine the Gibbs adsorption and pairing interaction. The surface adsorption in Bi-In surface was dominated by attractive interactions. The compositional changes at the alloy surface were quantified using resonant X-ray scattering. The influence of long range compositional modeling on the characterization procedures was also reported.
