Failure and protective measures on punch and die for cold extrusion

Abstract

Because of some irrationality of the design, material selection and heat treatment, earlier failure phenomenon often occurs in cold extrusion die. These failure phenomena of cold extrusion dies have been studied and measures to solve the failures are proposed. © The Authors.
