Abstract

Rogers this, Canada. Rogers Communications is how much of the country makes calls and watches TV. The company's Rogers Wireless subsidiary is Canada's #1 mobile phone outfit, with about 9.5 million subscribers across the country. As the nation's #1 cable TV operator, the company serves some 4 million subscribers throughout eastern Canada through subsidiary Rogers Cable. Its cable unit also oversees the company's Internet and nationwide landline and computer telephony services. Rogers Media is the company's broadcasting and publishing arm. The company also owns a stake in Rogers Blue Jays Baseball Partnership, which holds interests in the Toronto Blue Jays major league baseball team and Rogers Centre sports complex. Rogers Communications is owned by the family of late founder Ted Rogers.
