PENERAPAN METODE DEMONSTRASI DALAM MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR BELAJAR IPA SISWA KELAS VII

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan metode demonstrasi dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar belajar IPA dan  perannya terhadap motivasi belajar siswa. Jenis penelitian menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas sebanyak tiga putaran. Setiap putaran terdiri dari empat tahap, yaitu rancangan, kegiatan dan pengamatan, refleksi, dan revisi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan dari siklus I sampai siklus III yaitu, siklus I (38%), siklus II (74%), siklus III (95%). Penggunaan metode demonstrasi dapat berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar dan motivasi belajar siswa Kelas VII SMPN 1 Pandaan. Metode pembelajaran ini dapat digunakan sebagai salah satu alternatif pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam. This study aims to describe the application of demonstration methods in improving science learning outcomes and its role in student learning motivation. This type of research uses three rounds of classroom action research. Each round consists of four stages, namely design, activity and observation, reflection, and revision. The results showed that student learning outcomes increased from cycle I to cycle III, namely, cycle I (38%), cycle II (74%), cycle III (95%). The use of the demonstration method can have a positive effect on learning outcomes and learning motivation of Grade VII students of SMPN 1 Pandaan. This learning method can be used as an alternative to natural science learning.
