Abstract

The ability or capacity of the community is defined as the power or strength possessed by each individual and society to mobilize and utilize resources. The procedure for applying for credit is not easy and there is no required collateral, high interest rates, information that is still difficult to access, lengthy bureaucracy, lack of socialization, so that farmers prefer "lenders" who provide capital loans quickly even with higher interest rates than financial institutions. formal. This research is expected to increase the understanding of farmers as the main actors in food crop production regarding the importance of strengthening production input capacity through government subsidized financing/credit programs with low interest rates. The study was conducted on 30 farmers spread over 5 sub-districts in Bima City. KUR support in farming cultivation can be seen from the t-test showing a significance value of 0.00 > 0.05 which means that the existence of a farming financing assistance program through a credit scheme distributed by banking institutions is very helpful for farmers who do not have farming capital to cultivate farming.
