Nomogram for Calculation of Centrifugal Data

Abstract

The nomogram presented makes possible the calculation of time integral of squared angular velocity, sedimentation coefficient, centrifugal acceleration, time integral of centrifugal acceleration, and fraction of material remaining in the supernatant. The theoretical and practical aspects of reproduction of a particular centrifugation are discussed, and it is suggested that critical differential centrifugations are specified by minimal and maximal radii of rotation, speed of rotation, and time of centrifugation.
