The aim of this article is to draw a brief comparison between two recent British feminist works, the essay by Clare Hemmings, "Telling Feminist Stories", and the book by journalist Natasha Walter, The New Feminism. My viewpoint is that, although Hemmings' approach is academic and theoretical and Walter's more popular and practical, they come to the same conclusions about the paths feminism is taking nowadays.
