Air pollutants from the burning of fossil fuels and biofuels: A brief review

Abstract

Studies have been performed worldwide, which aim both the development of more accurate analytical methodologies and to identify the emission sources of pollutants. Some tests and measurements are done to characterize and control emissions in large cities, tunnels, bus stations and laboratories. The present work discuss about some tests and measurements of vehicle emissions, a subject of the INCT of Energy & Environment's researches.
