Abstract
Recent years have witnessed the birth of economic activities that seek to satisfy increasingly demanding needs in a creative and innovative way. Entrepreneurship has become the economic backbone of the main countries of the world. Peru is no stranger to this situation, however, more than the desire to undertake, there must be knowledge that allows the development of stable and permanent organizations over time. The objective of this research work is to describe the frequency of administrative management functions in the innovative enterprises of the 8th generation ProInnóvate Perú program. For this purpose, a methodology with a quantitative approach was used, with a non-experimental design and descriptive sampling of 129 organizations from which data was obtained through the questionnaire tool. Thus, the results obtained describe that the founders or managers of these organizations apply administrative management within their functions of planning, organizing, directing and controlling in a high frequency. Thus concluding that the new entrepreneurs know and implement the basic functions of administration, however, there are more factors that determine the success of an organization, which should be further analyzed.
