Abstract
Introduction: the main objective of this study is to make an assessment about sexuality knowledge previous to the Sex Education Program in order to adapt the workshops in the school; and another one afterwards to evaluate their effectiveness. Material and method: we passed a questionnaire to 96 students of third year of secondary education in the Department Xátiva-Ontinyent (Valencia) in guardianships. Then, the doctor and nurse performed the sexuality workshops. Results: among the results, there is a great lack of knowledge about sexuality but it improves after the workshops. Conclusions: if we adapt the workshops to the needs of the teenagers according to the initial survey, we could have better results.
