In this chapter, I am reminiscing on some of my experiences from my 53 years of living with computers. I am currently a professor and chair in the department of Information and Computer Sciences at the University of Hawaii. Over the years, I have only experienced computing environments in three locations (Colorado, Washington, D.C. and Hawaii) but they have all been memorable. The computers that I describe are a part of computing history but are rarely documented. © 2012 IFIP International Federation for Information Processing.
