The study examines the success of Saudi university leaders in developing an innovative educational environment in light of Vision 2030 from the perspective of Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University faculty. It also aims to strengthen and develop university leaders' performance, bridge the gap, and address weaknesses to improve the educational environment that fosters innovation. Increasing university education quality and achieving global competitiveness is vital in line with Vision 2030. For descriptive data, the researcher used a questionnaire. About 350 of Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University's 1769 faculty members were sampled in Fall 2022. The arithmetic means for university leaders' performance at Saudi universities to improve the educational environment that fosters innovation was 3.34, and the prerequisites for performance development were 3.30. No statistical differences were identified between gender and university leader service years. The report recommended academic and institutional cooperation to support Vision 2030. It also recommended reengineering administrative systems and employing leadership tactics to increase innovation.
