Abstract

This paper deals with Volterra perturbations of normal operators in a separable Hilbert space. Invertibility conditions and estimates for the norm of the inverse operators are established. In addition, bounds for the spectrum are suggested. Applications to integral integro-differential, and matrix operators are discussed. © 2002 Elsevier Science (USA).
