Abstract

The article presents the results from a study where drug development companies' use of homepages was investigated. Data about the information range on the homepages was collected through a content analysis. The four main themes in the analysis were: information about the company, the human capital, the product and the market. The results confirm most of the homepages are in need of improvement. To some extent right kind of information is provided, but there is not enough information to awake the interest of the visitor. Most of the information concerns the product, while market information and company information are scarces.
