Abstract

Some of the electrochemical methods are very important in the measurements of soil properties. The most often used of them are potentiometric (in pH measurements and ion-selective electrodes for some soil solution ions) and conductometric (in soil solution conductivity mea-surements) ones. The electrochemical methods are comparatively simple, cheap, and reliable. The measuring procedures and equipment are continuously improved and developed.
