Abstract

The problem in this study is the decrease of interesting student about molecular structure. The media used by students is also limited, and does not help students to learn independently. Based on this, it needs to conducted research on the development of interactive learning media based on augmented reality. This research uses 4-D development research (define, design, develop and disseminate). The design in this study consist of 3 stages, namely the define stage, carried out to get an overview in schools, regarding how the learning process was and the characteristics of the students. The design stage, the result of the define stage are used to design of interactive learning media based on Augmented Reality. The developed stages, to see the validity and practicality of augmented reality based interactive learning media. The results showed that the validity of the augmented reality interactive learning media obtained were 82.577% with a very valid category and the result of practicality obtained were 70,19% with a valid category.
