Los “nuevos historiadores” israelíes. Mitos fundacionales y desmitificación

Abstract

En el presente artículo trataremos el nacimiento de la Cuestión palestina y por extensión el del problema de los refugiados palestinos bajo el prisma de los llamados “nuevos historiadores” israelíes. Éstos han sido los actores determinantes que han echado abajo los mitos creados por Israel -y mantenidos también por los países occidentales- que había en torno a los sucesos que ocurrieron, durante y después de la guerra de 1948, y en especial, lo relacionado con la expulsión de los habitantes nativos palestinos que se convirtieron en refugiados.AbstractIn the present article we will deal with the origins of the Palestine Question and with the problem of the Palestinian refugees as it has been discussed by the Israeli so-called “new historians”. The “new historians” have been determinant actors in demolishing the myths created by Israel -and held also by Western countries- about the events surrounding the creation of the State of Israel and the 1948 war, and especially what has to do with the expulsion of the Palestinian inhabitants and how they were made on refugees.
