Abstract

ABSTRAK Tulisan ini membahas gaya bahasa Joko Pinurbo dalam sajak “Musim Panas” dan “Surat Kau”. Pemilihan kedua sajak tersebut dilatarbelakangi oleh rentang waktu penulisan kedua sajak yang cukup jauh, yakni 1985 (“Musim Panas”) dan 2013 (“Surat Kau”). Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk menguraikan dan membandingkan gaya bahasa Joko Pinurbo dalam kedua sajak tersebut. Untuk menganalisis hal tersebut digunakan teori stilistika, khususnya unsur-unsur gaya bahasa, yaitu gaya bunyi, gaya kata, dan gaya kalimat. Berdasarkan unsur-unsur gaya bahasa tersebut, ditemukan beberapa persamaan dan perbedaan pada kedua sajak Joko Pinurbo. Kata kunci: stilistika; gaya bahasa; sajak; Joko Pinurbo. ABSTRACT This study discusses the style of Joko Pinurbo in “Musim Panas” and “Surat Kau”. Both of those poems were chosen because the span of time is quite far away, that is 1985 for “Musim Panas” and 2013 for “Surat Kau”. This study aims to describe and compare the style of Joko Pinurbo in both poems. The analysis of this study uses stylistic theory, especially elements of the style of language, which are the sound style, the word style, and the sentence style. Based on the elements of the style of language, there are some similarities and differences in the two Joko Pinurbo’s poems. Keywords: stylistic; style of language; poem; Joko Pinurbo.
