There is a tendency in education today to fall back on the idea that children will learn better if the environment is created naturally. Learning will be more meaningful if children "experience" what they learn, not 'know' it. Target-oriented learning of material mastery has proven successful in short-term 'remembering' competitions, but has failed in equipping children to solve problems in long-term life. The objectives of this study are: (a) Want to know the increase in Jurisprudence learning achievement after the application of active learning methods through the Cooperative Picture and Picture Method. ( b) Want to know the influence of motivation to learn Jurisprudence after being applied through the Cooperative Picture and Picture Method. This study used three rounds of action research. Each round consists of four stages: design, activity and observation, reflection, and reference. The target of this study is grade VII MTs Ahlussunah Waljamaah Bstudents. The data obtained are in the form of formative test results, observation sheets of teaching and learning activities. From the results of the analysis, it was found that student learning achievement increased from cycle I to cycle III, namely, cycle I (61.19%), cycle II (76.09%), cycle III (85.71%). The results showed that throughthe Cooperative Picture and Picture Method can have a positive effect on the learning motivation of MTs Ahlussunnah Wal Jama'ah Students, and this learning model can be used as an alternative to Jurisprudence learning. ABSTRAKAda kecenderungan dalam dunia pendidikan dewasa ini untuk kembali pada pemikiran bahwa anak akan belajar lebih baik jika lingkungan diciptakan secara alamiah. Belajar akan lebih bermakna jika anak “mengalami” sendiri apa yang dipelajarinya, bukan ‘mengetahui’-nya. Pembelajaran yang berorientasi target penguasaan materi terbukti berhasil dalam kompetisi ‘mengingat’ jangka pendek, tetapi gagal dalam membekali anak memecahkan persoalan dalam kehidupan jangkan panjang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah: (a) Ingin mengetahui peningkatan prestasi belajar Fikih setelah diterapkannya metode belajar aktif Melalui Metode Cooperative Picture and Picture.(b) Ingin mengetahui pengaruh motivasi belajar Fikih setelah diterapkan Melalui Metode Cooperative Picture and Picture. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian tindakan (action research) sebanyak tiga putaran. Setiap putaran terdiri dari empat tahap yaitu: rancangan, kegiatan dan pengamatan, refleksi, dan refisi. Sasaran penelitian ini adalh siswa kelas VII MTs Ahlussunah Waljamaah Buntok. Data yang diperoleh berupa hasil tes formatif, lembar observasi kegiatan belajar mengajar. Dari hasil analis didapatkan bahwa prestasi belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan dari siklus I sampai siklus III yaitu, siklus I (61,19%), siklus II (76,09%), siklus III (85,71%). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa melalui Metode Cooperative Picture and Picture dapat berpengaruh positif terhadap motivasi belajar Siswa MTs Ahlussunnah Wal jama’ah, serta model pembelajaran ini dapat digunakan sebagai salah satu alternative pembelajaran Fikih.
