Abstract

The arthroscopic evaluation of the hip is no different than any other joint. A distinct algorithm should be developed by surgeons in order to assess all of the areas of the hip and to address all of the pathology that is present. In addition, it is critical to assess the peripheral compartment in all cases as that is part of the hip joint and is often a source of pathological processes.
